9/10/2023:
On this day the official Storm The Heavens Mural at Samuel Rec Center, Philadelphia, was unveiled to the public. When Mina and the Storm The Heavens Fund team approached me about this project I was inspired. Not only by the story of Philomina and her courage but the entire mission of Storm The Heavens and their relentless effort to find a cure for DIPG. I do not consider myself a muralist but I am always up for a new challenge. Creating this mural allowed me to really open up my creativity and show my true skills as a self taught artist. This project and mission will always hold a special place in my heart and I hope the imagery and words in the painting will continue to inspire for years to come.
