DEVONTA SMITH – OUR HISTORY 

Before he ever stepped onto an NFL field, DeVonta Smith reached out to purchase a painting I did of his time at Alabama. That moment always stuck with me - not because of the potential transaction, but because it showed the kind of person he was. Humble. Intentional. A down to earth guy. 

Since then, we’ve built a friendship and have worked together on several projects. I’ve watched his quiet dominance take root in Philadelphia, winning over fans not with flash, but with route-running perfection, toughness, and championship pedigree. From a Heisman winner to a first-round pick to one of the most clutch wideouts this city has ever seen, every season he's elevated.

And then came the moment, when all of that potential, all of that quiet greatness, exploded into a play we’ll never forget. A play that will forever be known as The Dagger.

“THE DAGGER” – WHEN GREATNESS GOES SILENT

There are plays that win games and plays that end them. This one ended it.

With just over two minutes left in the third quarter, the Eagles led 27–0 on football’s biggest stage. Still, no one in Philadelphia was relaxed, not against a team like Kansas City. That’s when head coach Nick Sirianni made the call. Literally. He boldly stated:
“Just call it.”

Jalen Hurts took the snap. DeVonta Smith streaked down the sideline. And then came the moment called by Kevin Burkhardt:

“Now the Eagles get it back... or maybe... THROW THE DAGGER. HURTS GOING DEEP, FOR IT ALL... DEVONTA SMITH!!! HE'S GOT IT!!! TOUCHDOWN!!!”

The throw was flawless. The catch? Even better.
The broadcast gave it a name that stuck instantly: The Dagger.

That touchdown didn’t just stretch the lead. It sealed the game, shut down the Chiefs’ hopes, and became an instant part of Eagles lore. And now, it’s been immortalized.

THE ARTWORK

This design captures the electricity of one of the most defining plays in Philadelphia championship history, DeVonta Smith’s now-iconic touchdown catch, The Dagger. Every visual element explodes with intensity, mirroring the moment itself: a deep sideline shot, perfectly thrown, and hauled in with unmatched grace. It was the final moment that silenced a dynasty and secured a title for Philly.

At the center of the composition stands DeVonta in his signature pose calm, focused, and in total control moments after making the catch. Behind him looms a larger-than-life image from the same play, his mouth wide open in celebration, breaking through a cracked-glass texture that symbolizes the Chiefs’ hopes shattering in real time.

The words “The Dagger” are fractured across the backdrop, visually mimicking the instant the stadium and the city erupted. Subtle textural cues like "World Champions" and shattered red tones emphasize the magnitude of the moment without needing to say the name of the game.

When scanned, this code provides direct access to detailed, verifiable information about that specific card. Through our innovative Spector authentication system, each card’s specifications are securely recorded, allowing the owner to distinctly verify what they own.
