THE STORY

Artist Jordan Spector was commissioned by getdaps.io to create this exclusive trading card in collaboration with Purdue basketball legend Zach Edey. Edey has shattered numerous NCAA basketball records both at Purdue and the NCAA as a whole.

This project is not only the first of its kind for Edey but also a historical moment in the name, image, and likeness (NIL) space. Many changes have occurred the past two years in NCAA rules allowing athletes to make financial gain off their name, image and likeness. Since Zach Edey is a Canadian Citizen and not US citizen this forbids him from working in the US. This rare opportunity allowed for DAPS and Spector to work directly with Edey in Toronto, Canada when Purdue played Alabama on 12/8. This NIL opportunity is one of the first deals allowing an international player, such as Edey, to utilize his NIL.

The number of cards purchased in this 24 hour window will determine the number of cards in the set. Once the sale is closed that will be it for this edition. There will also be an edition of 15/15 that are hand embellished, numbered and autographed by artist Jordan Spector. Every limited edition card from this collection will be carefully placed into a one touch case, sealed and shipped in a bubble mailer.
